Clouds

I am a nutter for clouds and reflections. Here are some of my cloud pictures.

Klapperkop: before the storm

I just wish I had my Sigma 10-20mm with me on this occasion.

In post-processing, I enhanced the contrast a bit with curves.

Klapperkop: sunrise

As I did not have my camera with me, I had to use my phone to take the picture.

As I mentioned on another page, the phone camera does not handle contrast too well.

Bakubung, Pilanesberg

A series taken after sunset during a visit to Bakubung (sunset was at 18:30 on this particular day).

I took the next pic at a slightly faster shutter speed to try and get more detail in the bright clouds.

The next pic was taken an hour and a half after sunset. To the eye, it was fully dark.

Little Eden Storm

During a stay at the Little Eden Resort near Cullinan, we had a massive thunderstorm which knocked out the resort's water pumps.
