Eastern Transvaal

Introduction

Pat and I have travelled extensively, both by vehicle and on foot, in what was known as the Eastern Transvaal. This area consists of the escarpment and lowveld regions of the Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces of South Africa. In these notes, I hope to share with you some of our experiences on these travels.

I have taken thousands of pictures over the last 30 years, so this page will grow as I and when I find the urge to update it (as well as making the effort to convert sildes to digital images).
