Ford Ranger

Slider

Raymond built this slider for my bakkie after a chat about it before lockdown. Ray got hit with the virus earlier in the year, so I take my hat off to him for producing this device, after his recovery. I am not going to give away any of Ray's design methods, but just want to show how it worked.

Here the slider in the out position, with some cargo

The slider in its home position, with the tent's groundsheet and the braai grid on the wheel arch behind the ammo boxes. As you can see, the ammo boxes fit perfectly between the guides on the slider frame.

Almost packed

Here, almost ready, with cooler box, table and chairs, tent, and wind shield for gas stove. And of course, the dust covers ready to be rolled over the cargo.
