We watched this Blackshouldered Kite for more than half an hour while it devoured the mouse. Quite a bit of time was spent ripping the fur of the poor little beast.

While at the Batlhako Dam Hide, this Malachite came to perch less than 3m from us with its prey, in this case, a dragon fly nymph. It proceeded to bash the nymph until it was happy, then swallowed it. It then moved slightly higher up in the dead tree to pose a bit more.
